Were you at the AWS Summit in NYC? We hope you had time to swing by the hands-on lab room! Even if you didn’t make it, we hope to see you at the next one.
While you’re at an AWS Summit…
There’s always a ton of speakers, events, and programs with AWS experts and super-users. Usually you can find qwikLABS there too! If you haven’t been to one yet, or if you’re thinking of going to the next one, here’s why you should make the trip:
- AWS Summits are a good opportunity to challenge yourself to a Quest! Get the most out of your AWS Summit experience by earning a badge in the hands-on lab room. May I suggest Serverless Architectures with AWS Lambda?
- Take advantage of the two-screen experience. The hands-on lab room provides an ideal workstation setup for taking a lab. While you’re at it, check out our lab manuals’ makeover! You can see the new look in two of the latest labs, Introduction to IoT and Introduction to AWS Application Discovery. Even if you’re not at a Summit, I encourage you to take a look – these labs are available free of charge. (Quick note – not all Summits feature a hands-on lab room.)
- Summits are a great place to hear about new products, exclusive opportunities, and contests like this Serverless Chatbot Competition. Added bonus, usually there is a SME for the product/service/contest on site who is happy to help you with any questions. (And if you’re looking for help with this contest, check out this lab that walks you through using AWS Lambda to build a Slack chatbot.)
